I never intended on becoming a farmer, much less someone who helps other farmers build successful businesses online. I started out as a tech founder, investor and advisor.
My journey towards building a grass fed beef business was born out of a personal experience that changed my life forever: my father's cancer diagnosis.
As I watched my father bravely undergo chemotherapy and radiation, I couldn't help but feel frustrated and powerless. I was surprised to find that the hospital was giving free samples of sugar water to cancer patients. This was a moment of realization for me, as I could clearly see the disconnect between the food industry and consumer health.
I knew that diet was the one thing about my father’s situation that we could control, so I became determined to do everything in my power to provide him, along with the rest of my family with the healthiest food possible. This meant taking control of our food supply and sourcing locally raised, sustainably produced meat.
That's when I had the idea to start my own grass fed beef business with the goal of providing others with access to the same high-quality, locally raised meat I was searching for.
Along the way, I gained valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities of selling farm products direct to consumer, and how to market those products in a digital world.
One day, I published a simple PDF showing other small family farms what I learned. The response was incredible. In less than 30 days, that PDF was downloaded over 1,200 times.
That’s when I knew I had stumbled upon something much bigger than myself.
So I sold my farm and went all in on helping other farm-to-table producers follow the blueprint I had discovered.
Today, my company Farm Rebel works with hundreds of producers across North America to increase their profitability, build the farm of their dreams, and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Now honored to be able share The Farm Rebel's Guide To Marketing Direct To Consumer with you so you can get these types of results for your farm or ranch too!
